We are Matthew and Angela Saunders and we formed Taste du Languedoc Wine Tours in 2013.

We’ve lived in the area for more than 25 years, and have a thriving wine bar and art gallery in a local village called Azille.

Our passion for the area and knowledge of local wines led to customers requesting wine tasting events and – Taste du Languedoc was born.

The Languedoc region is the largest wine growing region in the world. It has a reputation for producing a fabulous range of high quality wines and for its new generation of passionate wine growers.

If you’re planning a holiday or if you’re already here, why not join us for a truly memorable experience of authentic Languedoc.

Tours run all year round and booking is easy.

AUDIOGUIDE TOUR OF LE 1900 MUSEUM, CELLAR AND VINEGAR FACTORY

The visit starts with an audio guided tour about the life in Lagrasse in the 1900's, recreated with the amazing collection of objects, who belongs to the owner's parents. Discover the famous jobs of the region, such as the winery, the jewelry, the school and the cooper... The visit continues upstairs, with our 2 shows. The first one is a sound & light show about the life and the work of the vineyard in the past century, as the seasons go by. The stone maker created 4 scale models, representative of the region. The second show, in 4D, will take you to a little journey with the old tramway of the region. It went from Saint Pierre des Champs to Lezignan Corbières, a short ride with the car nowadays but it used to take about 2h with this tramway. The 4D experience will definitely surprise you, special effects and interactivity will please the whole family ! Finish this trip with incredible tastings of their own production ! The owner elaborates and creates unique products : wine, aperitives, olive oils and the surprising vinegars ! You will taste their different families : wine vinegars & balsamic, and learn how to use it at home !

CHATEAU GRAND MOULIN

Located right inside the village of Lezignan-Corbieres, on the RN 113 (national road), the winery "Château Grand Moulin" also has a shop where visitors can taste and buy the range of wines produced in the Corbières.

Jean-Noël Bousquet relocated his winery to the Lézignan ring road, after his old cellar collapsed during the incredible floods of winter 1999, which at least provided him with the opportunity to remodel the winemaking facilities and incorporate a smart tasting reception area and shop. The estate has now expanded beyond 100ha in size, some of which is classified as Corbières-Boutenac. As well as the latter promising full-bodied red, Jean-Noël’s best wines include his Terres Rouges and Vieilles Vignes reds and elegant, yet full and dry La Tour rosé.
